The reviews reflect a warm connection between patrons and the restaurant staff, with many customers expressing their affection for the friendly atmosphere. One frequent diner, Lindsey B., describes the pizza as delicious and piping hot, highlighting her love for the make-your-own pizza topped with sausage, pepperoni, and fresh garlic. Others echo this sentiment, praising the chunky chicken Gorgonzola pizza and the “garlic bread and cheese,” which has become a guilty pleasure for many, offering a perfect balance of cheesiness and garlicky flavor.
However, not all experiences are without critique. Some reviewers have noted inconsistencies in meal preparations, such as unexpected ingredients in their Italian grinders and discrepancies in what defines a "chicken tender." While these opinions vary, they offer a clear indication that there’s always room for improvement, which could elevate the overall dining experience.

We get takeout from Neighborhood quite often and we really love the people here. The food is a little odd sometimes though. For example, an Italian Grinder with everything should be the cold cuts, provolone cheese, finely shredded lettuce, tomato, onion, hot pepper relish (hots) and oil/dressing. If you order that here, it'll come with both oil and mayo and no pepper relish. A hot steak and cheese comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo? Really? 6 Mozz sticks are $9.45?! Why? Worst thing though, the "chicken tenders" are NOT chicken tenders. A chicken tender is the tenderloin piece of the chicken breast and should be that piece, breaded. What they're serving is chicken NUGGETS shaped like tenders. They're kinda gross, made of chicken puree, with bubbles inside, just like the junky crap they sell at Micky D's.

Good pizza best steak and cheese grinder. Very tasty. Good people. I do prefer the night cook over the day cook

This is a mostly take out pizza, pasta, and fried stuff place. They do have a few booths, but no service to them, so you can order, sit down, and eat your to go food once it is done. They have a "full" bar but no beer on tap and wine so bad that calling it swill would be generous. If you are looking for a to-go place, it is good enough, but do not bother with eating there and avoid the over-priced alcohol that you can buy for less anywhere else.

I unfortunately don't have any pictures, but I have been frequenting Neighborhood Pizza for the last few years for delivery and have never had a bad order. They are quick, very polite on the phone, and have delicious pizza. The food (at least for me) has always come piping hot. Our favorite is a 'make your own' is sausage, pepperoni, and fresh garlic. The chicken Gorgonzola pizza is also delicious, and their hot wings nice and spicy. My guilty pleasure from here is their garlic bread and cheese...so cheesy...so garlicky....so many carbs haha! I will be moving out of the area soon and I legit feel the most sad that I won't be able to order from here again :( So please give them business-- you won't regret it!

French fries are good. Really surprised how tasty this pizza is. Ordered half cheese and half pepperoni. Not a fan of thin crust but I was pleased with how well it was cooked. Only complaint is no hot water in the bathroom while washing your hands.

Legit the best pizza ever. Their entrees are fantastic. They are fast and polite and their prices can't be beat. Best pizza in New England.

On my way through Wilbraham on a quiet Sunday night, I stopped for dinner takeout at Neighborhood Pizzeria (formerly Neighborhood Deli) in the Wilbraham Shops. This "no-frills" pizza shop & deli offers quite an extensive menu including traditional & specialty pizzas (12"-18"-24"), jumbo calzones, salads, appetizers, stromboli, grinders, sandwiches, melts, wraps, angus burgers, hot dogs, gyros, chicken, seafood, Italian dinners, kids meals, bagged chips, and cooler drinks. Whole wheat crusts are offered. The prices are fair, pizzas $7.95 (small cheese)-$26.95 (party size specialty), most grinders (8" & 12") $5.75-$7.75, specialty wraps $7.99, and most dinners $9.95-$17.95. During lunch, 2 slices of pizza and can of soda is $5.99. Coupon specials are on the printed menu. The place is order at the counter with open kitchen area (it's hot in here!) and there's booth seating in the front "greenhouse" section which is nice and cool (air conditioned). I ordered a Small (12") Eggplant Pizza ($8.95) and a Broccoli Alfredo Dinner ($9.95) served with garden salad and garlic bread. The food was ready in about 20 minutes as promised. The pizza here is very good, which has a firm thin crust with a soft dough texture inside, not too chewy, topped with sauce, plenty of mozzarella cheese and thin slices of breaded eggplant. The portion of broccoli alfredo with fettucince was very generous for the price, served in a very hot round aluminum container. The alfredo sauce was thick and creamy, but not too rich with lots of broccoli mixed in served over soft cooked fettucine noodles. The side salad had fresh iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onions, green peppers, black olives, shredded mozzarella cheese, and dressing on the side. The baked garlic bread was crispy with a dry texture inside. Overall, a good place to stop for lunch or dinner, though nothing fancy. The eggplant pizza and broccoli alfredo were both solid good and filling to eat with leftovers. DELIVERY: $1.50 charge with $10 (before tax) minimum order
